The group of Button varieties has highly decorative fruits with a very mild degree of hotness. It was bred for growing in pots on terraces and balconies. Seedlings in pots of 10–12 cm can be sold as edible balcony or even as ornamental. Fruits have an unusual shape, are 2.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The plants are very compact and, depending on the size of the pot, produce more than 50 fruits on one plant.
