Cucumber
(41)Cucumis sativus has a TSW of 20-30 g and 30-50 seeds per 1 g. Cucumber has a weaker root system and therefore requires proper soil fertilization and moisture regime. To improve the root system and increase the yield, it uses grafting onto pumpkins. Cucumbers can be grown from pre-grown seedlings as well as direct sowing, which is more commonly used for pickling cucumbers.
