It is usually sown in IV, germinates in 10-14 days at a temperature of 20-24 °C, and is planted in greenhouses or foil covers - in the bed in the second half of May, recommended distance: 100×100 cm. Planting with a support is preferable; side shoots should be pinned. The fruits are oval, 10-15 cm long, weighing 200-300 g, green at first and turning bright orange as they ripen. The flesh is greenish-yellow in colour, very juicy with a refreshing flavour; the fruit is eaten raw; storage life is up to 6 months.
