Lobelia x speciosa
(3)Lobelia x speciaosa is a perennial flowering plant in its first year. It is used in larger plantings and as a solitaire, and is very attractive in large containers. The distinctive colourful flowers are attractive to bumblebees and butterflies. Warm locations and plenty of moisture are suitable for growing. Sow in a moderately heated greenhouse II-III. Transplant in April to a cold greenhouse or hothouse. Transplant to loose soil (VI-VII), or pot up for sale in 7-9 cm pots.
