Novelties 2022

Even this year we have included for you attractive novelties from our own breeding of Černý Seed s.r.o. company, as well as carefully selected varieties tested in our climatic conditions from the production of the best seed companies from all over the world.

New from our own breeding is, for example, a group of semi-double to double varieties of Begonia semperflorens FlowerBall F1. We present three most important colours for growers: pink, red and white - varieties Pink F1, Red F1 and White F1. Plants are 20-25 cm tall, well branched, compact growth - with flowers up to 4 cm in diameter. They have a self-cleaning effect which greatly facilitates the care of the planting. Petunia hybrida multiflora Dot Star Rose F1, propagated from seed, extends our portfolio of petunias with white dots and spots that could previously only be grown from cuttings. Attractive white dots and spots now shine on a neon pink "background". Coleus blumei is a completely new crop in our breeding programmes. The first success in this field is the new unique Colocha group with the Rose and Scarlet varieties, launched this year. Unlike the classic coleus, the group is characterised by its unique wavy and ruffled leaf edges.
