During the summer season, we tested more than 140 varieties of annuals, perennials, and vegetables from leading seed companies around the world. From these, we selected and included 82 of the best in our range, and also added new varieties from our own breeding program.

This year, we are introducing a completely new petunia variety to the market. Petunia hybrida multiflora Dot Star Lilac F1 expands our portfolio of petunias with white dots and spots, which previously could only be grown from cuttings. It is a suitable addition to the existing group of four varieties: Dark Violet, Deep Pink, Red and Rose.

The popular Coleus blumei Colocha group will be enriched this year with a red variety – Red. Unlike common coleus, Colocha is characterized by unique wavy and curly edges of velvety leaves that are soft to the touch. The plants are well branched, moderately compact – growing to a height of 45–50 cm. The leaves turn attractive, highly intense colours.

Another, completely new variety from our own breeding program is the highly genetically compact Salvia splendens Hotbloom. Hotbloom varieties combine the best characteristics that a grower could ask for in salvia. The plants are much more genetically compact than most varieties available on the market, while also excelling in their excellent heat resistance. It was usually very difficult for breeders to combine these two characteristics. The plants branch profusely and form dense, compact shrubs that attract attention with their massive and distinctive inflorescences. The colour range includes classic Red, Purple, unique bright Orange, Pink, and last but not least, Lilac Halo.
