Oregano - Origanum vulgare has about 8000 seeds in 1 g. Oregano is a strongly aromatic perennial, blooming in July-August with beautiful pink-purple flowers. It likes sunny locations with permeable soil, where it grows up to 60 cm. It is mainly used as a spice, but also in herbal teas. The Greek oregano differs from the commonly grown and cultivated oregano in our country by its smaller leaves and white flowers. It is most often used as a spice in meat dishes because of its distinctly spicy taste.
