Calendula officinalis is an annual herb that flowers from June to autumn and has about 150 seeds in 1 gram. It is most often grown in sunny locations from direct sowing IV-VI, but it is also possible to pre-grow seedlings. The flowers are harvested from June to September, with single tongue-shaped flowers or whole clusters. It is used in the preparation of teas, for decorating dishes and especially in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
