Tanacetum parthenium is sometimes called Chrysanthemum parthenium and belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is often grown as an annual for cutting flowers, the lower varieties are suitable for growing in beds and containers. It is sown in I-III, the sowing is not covered, germinates at 20-22 °C for 4-6 days, transplanted after 5-6 weeks into 9-12 cm pots. Also, a growing temperature of 13-18 °C during the day and 13-15 °C at night is recommended, they need a day length of more than 14 hours for flowering, the cultivation period is 14-18 weeks.
