Tagetes patula - Marigold
(7)Hot Pak™ varieties are extra short (dwarf, only 15-18 cm tall), yet very richly branched. The advantage is the size of the flowers (4.5-5 cm) and the very long flowering time. They bloom until autumn, even at higher temperatures and humidity. The Hot Pak™ group offers 6 attractive colours that are balanced in height, size and flower shape, making them ideal for park plantings. They work well in small and large containers and at the edge of larger plantings. The seedlings can be sold in smaller pots of 8-10 cm as well as in multipacks. Hot Pak™ has a shorter seedling establishment time compared to other Tagetes patula groups. Cultivation time from sowing to transplanting is 3 weeks; total time to seedling sale is 6-7 weeks.
