Sundial F1 odrůdy
(6)The Sundial F1 variety group is particularly impressive with its large flowers, 3-5 cm across. Richly branched plants form low dense clumps in the shape of small mounds (up to 13 cm high). Sundial varieties are easy to grow, grow well and flower profusely even in hot and dry climates. They are suitable for planting in planters, in beds and rockeries or in landscape planting.
For sale V-VI, sow at the end of II-III, 2 seeds per cell in a planter, do not overfill, germinate for 2-3 days at 22-26 °C, then reduce the temperature to 20-23 °C, optimal plant development requires an ideal natural day length of over 10.5 hours, if the day is shorter or there is little light, it should be relighted; transplant after 4-5 weeks into 10-12 cm pots, maintain a temperature of 18-22 °C, temperatures below 18 °C prevent flower induction and slow growth; fertilise lightly with a complete balanced fertiliser. Cultivation time is 8-10 weeks.
