The Velvet F1 series varieties are unique in our product line. Their overhang may compete with vegetative propagated overhanging petunias. The main benefits of these new varieties are excellent health, luxuriant growth and medium-sized blossom. The plants do not grow upright but creep along the ground and fall over the edge of a flower box or container and hang down. When planted in a flower bed, they create a flower carpet about 25 cm high. As they are propagated by seeds, there is no risk of transfer of viruses. The affordable seeds prices are also attractive for breeders. Planting is the same as for other groups of petunias, we only recommend the application of B-Nine to be limited to one, at most two sprayings. Proper nutrition has a positive influence on the length of the spreading cascade.
