Petunia - minipetunia Petit
(6)The group of minipetunia 'Petit F1' is a new breeding of Černý company, which was introduced to the market in 2013. The cultivation is the same as for other petunias. Young plants in planters need a day length of less than 12 hours, otherwise they will flower prematurely. The plants are very compact and do not need growth control, but are more demanding in terms of cultivation temperature. After transplanting into 8 cm pots, night temperatures should not fall below 16-18 °C. Temperatures below 16 °C may cause delayed flowering and poor root development.
Varieties in this group flower very early. They produce several flowers at the same time and form a very densely branched compact plant. They grow to a height of 20cm, flower size is 5 - 5.5cm. They are mainly intended for planting in containers, but can also be used in beds. They are hardy and bloom profusely throughout the season.
