Impatiens walleriana
(4)Beacon® F1 is a unique group characterized by its high resistance to the widespread Plasmopara obducens, which is the cause of fungal diseases in Impatiens. The Beacon® F1 varieties allow the return of growing seedlings of popular Impatiens without the risk of damage caused by Plasmopara. Resistance is genetically determined, so it is not necessary to use fungicides or otherwise modify the cultivation process and plant care. Cultivation is similar to other groups of Impatiens.
Impatiens Beacon® F1 grows to a height of 25-30 cm. The width of the plants is 30-35 cm, the recommended distance when planting is 25 cm. These are early flowering varieties; they bloom profusely from spring to autumn, which brightens your plantings throughout the season in both sheltered and sunny areas. In the case of precise sowing in plug trays, the time until transplanting is 4-5 weeks, the time from transplanting to the sale of seedlings is 3-4 weeks; total crop time 8-10 weeks. The pre-planting time of the seedling is therefore up to 4 weeks shorter than in other groups.
