Impatiens interspecific
(5)Impatiens interspecific - a new species from the Balsaminaceae family. It is an annual for beds and containers and grows well in full sun. For sale of flowering plants in IV-V sow in I-III in planters, lightly cover with vermiculite, germinate 4-5 days at 22-25 °C. After germination, it is good to lower the temperature to 18-22 °C, transplanting into 10 cm pots after 4-6 weeks, then maintain temperatures at 20-24 °C during the day and 16-20 °C at night. Fertilise with a lower nitrogen fertiliser, no need for growth regulators, cultivation time is 10-16 weeks.
The Solarscape® F1 group guarantees high quality, strong and richly flowering plants in beds as well as in containers. They are fully comparable to vegetatively propagated interspecific Impatiens varieties. The plantings are low maintenance. Unlike the others, these varieties thrive best in full sun, where they produce a beautifully involved stand that blooms all season long. They grow to a height of 30-40 cm in beds. The flowers have a tropical look and satin texture in many vibrant shades.
