Helichrysum microphyllum (Plecostachys serpyllifolia)

(1)

Helichrysum microphyllum is an annual with ornamental leaves from the Asteraceae family, which is suitable for flower beds and containers and can also be used as a houseplant. Sowing is carried out from mid-January to February, one multipellet per seedling tray cell, without covering. Multipellets germinate in 6–8 days at 22–24 °C, after which we recommend lowering the temperature to 18–22 °C. After 6–7 weeks, transplant into 10–12 cm pots and grow at 18–24 °C during the day and 17–18 °C at night. Be careful not to overwater and water in the late afternoon, as leaves that remain wet for a long time may be more susceptible to botrytis. Pinching is not necessary, and the cultivation period is 14–17 weeks.
