Papaveraceae, annual, for flower beds and mixed plantings with other annuals. Easy to grow, ideal for sunny areas with lighter, not very fertilized and well permeable soil. It blooms from V to IX with attractive yellow-orange flowers, which contrast with the fine blue-green foliage. Direct sowing at the beginning of V; to sow in plug trays at the beginning of III, germinates 4–8 days at a temperature of 20–22 °C, then we grow at 14–15 ° C, use 10 cm pots for the final cultivation of seedlings; cultivation time for the sale of flowering plants is 10-14 weeks.
