Eschscholzia californica Red Double 2g
Papaveraceae, annual for bedding and mixed planting with other annuals. Undemanding to grow, ideal for sunny sites with lighter, not too fertilised and well-drained soil. Blooms from V to IX with attractive flowers that contrast with the soft blue-green foliage. Direct sowing in early V, into planters in early III, germinate for 4-8 days at 20-22 °C, then grow at 14-15 °C, use 10 cm pots to finish the seedlings, the cultivation period for the sale of flowering plants is 10-14 weeks.
