Ornamental Kale is becoming more and more popular for florists. Varieties intended for this use have a fairly small, intensively colored leaf rosette with a diameter of 10-15 cm and a stem (stalk) of 60 to 90 cm. To create a sufficiently long stalk is recommended planting density 64 plants per 1 m. It needs to be used a support net, so that the plants do not bend and the stalk stays straight; cultivation period 19-21 weeks. At the beginning of cultivation, fertilize adequately. However, when coloring the rosettes, do not fertilize and reduce the watering. Cultivation at lower temperatures leads to a better coloration of the rosettes.
The newly introduced varieties of the Crane F1 series with feather-leaves cut type Feather Queen F1 and Feather King F1 complement each other in color. They create compact rosettes, the size of which affects the planting spread.
